Pack & Send take advantage of upward trend in online purchasing
With a 48% growth in global parcel volume the logistics industry is booming
Pack & Send is a global franchise network committed to providing its retail, corporate and small business customers with convenient one-stop shop solutions for sending ‘anything anywhere’.
Our No Limits philosophy means that we can provide a large scope of competitive services from offering the public better rates than the post office on 25kg+ sending to 5 main destinations, while also eclipsing conventional freight companies by providing tailor made logistics solutions to address the most complex logistics requirements.
As consumer expectations continue to rise, shipping technology and service providers such as Pack & Send will help retailers and marketplaces meet demands via multi-carrier platforms such as our new GMx software, and our soon to be released Book & Pay platform. This will exponentially improve timing and cost efficiencies for businesses enhancing customer experiences via improved tracking capabilities, streamlining processes for both senders and recipients.
Bricks and Mortar is still alive and well while our online Book & Pay will boost revenue even further
‘All of our stores are up around 20% in sales in the last 5 months compared to this time last year’, says NZ Franchisor Matthew Everest. Growing demand, exceptional customer reviews, strong buying power and active marketing make this unique opportunity too hard to ignore. Pack & Send was launched in 2008 and its initial forte was sending Fragile, Large, Awkward or Valuable (FLAV) items around the country and across the globe. It’s excellent reputation in this sector enabled them to seamlessly adapt to other freight categories requiring top of the line service. Pack & Send is also kicking some goals in the trans-tasman region, shipping 30% more parcels to Australia compared to this time last year!

Our 20 percent increase is just the beginning
Explosive revenue growth is a reality for Pack & Send franchisees who are riding the ever swelling waves of online purchasing. Matthew also says ‘We plan to build on that by leveraging the internet to reduce costs and increase productivity and revenue for all franchisees’.
In 2018 Pack & Send will launch an innovative new Book and Pay system which has been used for several years successfully by Pack & Send Australia where the franchise has its roots. With a trend towards customers wanting to save money and process their own sending or receiving of parcels from their own home this will add an extra monetisation stream to franchisees.
Same-day collection by courier will also be offered however many people prefer to drop packages off at choice of 14 stores spread across NZ.
Launching in 2018
- Proprietary logistics platform GMx
- New online self service system (Book and Pay) will basically generate franchisees passive income
- Brand lead guarantee (to selected territories)
- Finance option for new stores
‘Many people and businesses hate packing and are concerned about safety and security, especially with sensitive items such as IT equipment. They know we have the experience to handle those safely so they trust us with their goods – and they keep coming back!’ says Matthew.
We want to keep growing our network as more regions need our services
To service even more Kiwis we urgently need more outlets. We have our Auckland City and Dunedin stores for sale and new territories available in South and North Auckland, Palmerston North and New Plymouth. After another region? Find out more about this lucrative franchise opportunity now!
Increasing store numbers will see Pack & Send have even stronger buying power with carriers and our aim is to be top of mind for both the public and businesses – we’re working on a ‘first choice’ strategy moving forward. Technology will be a key focus of Pack & Send’s success in 2018 with a launch of a new proprietary software in 2018 called GMx. This will integrate with all courier companies which provide franchisees with real-time information to improve pricing, tracking, bar coding and consignments
