Student moving made easy
November is moving month for the thousands of University and Polytech students throughout New Zealand.
Exam weary students looking to get their beds and desks, computers and mountain bikes back home or overseas all start banging on the doors of their local Pack & Send stores.
“After four years of study, students can accumulate a lot of stuff that they need to move home or to their next destination where they’re starting a new job. We just swing by in the van and pick up everything that they want to take with them, pack it up and move it off. We also have a number of students come in and grab a couple of our boxes and they pack up their own belongings and drop the box back in for sending. Either way it’s easy as.” says Heath Williams, Store Manager at Pack & Send Riccarton.
Budgets can be tight at the end of the year so Pack & Send offers free boxes and free pick-up for students. With one less hassle the students just need to worry about their exams and celebrating the end of another academic year.
