Our Recruitment Process
Like any good franchise system we have a standardised franchisee recruitment process that we follow to ensure that we get the best possible candidates joining our team at PACK & SEND.
Even with the significant advantages of franchising, we know that running a business is not for everyone. As you progress through our recruitment process we will ask you to “jump through some hoops” as well as offering as much information as we can to ensure that you are fully informed and comfortable when signing the Franchise Agreement. You will be advised of your selection (or non-selection) to the next stage of our recruitment process.
Once you have researched PACK & SEND online and are interested in speaking with our recruitment manager, completing the request more information form will progress you to the first stage of our franchisee recruitment process.
Stage 1 – Initial Telephone Interview
This stage is designed for you to gauge the suitability of PACK & SEND as a possible vehicle to achieve your personal business and earnings goals. You will be asked to complete and return our Confidentiality Agreement as well as complete our online Information Request Form.
Stage 2 – Introduction to PACK & SEND
A suitable time is arranged for our recruitment manager to present the “Introduction to PACK & SEND” presentation. This presentation is delivered via a webinar format and teleconference. After the presentation an opportunity exists for further questions to be answered. Following this meeting you are asked to complete our online Self Assessment Form.
Stage 3 – Overview of the PACK & SEND Franchise Package
A meeting is arranged for the recruitment manager to personally present the “Overview of the PACK & SEND Franchise Package” presentation. Following the presentation you are provided with a copy of PACK & SEND’s legal documentation, including Disclosure Document and Franchise Agreement, so you can proceed with your own legal and accounting advice as part of your due diligence process.
Stage 4 – Talk with our Franchisees
By this stage you will have received a significant amount of information from PACK & SEND and close to making a decision on our franchise opportunity. Your due diligence may raise some questions and our recruitment manager will answer these to your satisfaction. At this point you are encouraged to visit our existing franchisees to get a feel for our team and culture. If a visit is not possible then at the very least a phone call is recommended to satisfy your due diligence. The recruitment manager will facilitate the store visit by notifying the franchisees of your pending arrival.
Stage 5 – Application Approval
Once you are satisfied, via your due diligence process, that PACK & SEND is right for your personal and business goals we progress to approving your application. Upon approval you will sign the Franchise Agreement, pay the Initial Franchise Fee and the next exciting chapter of your life begins!
Stage 6 – Training and Store Site Selection
You are booked into the next induction training at PACK & SEND New Zealand Head Office in Christchurch and the process of Store Site Selection and Shop Fit-out commences.
Stage 7 – Open for Business
Following the successful completion of your induction training and your store fit-out has been completed and signed off – you are ready to open the doors to your new PACK & SEND store.
