Flooded roads and delays

Along with ongoing Interislander ferry delays there will also be holdups with Waka Kotahi announcing the 24/7 re-opening of State Highway 5 between Napier and Taupo due to significant repair work. While deliveries throughout affected flood regions of NZ are still very challenging, some of our carriers are now accepting freight bound for the Hawkes Bay and Gisborne areas with essential supplies being prioritised.
Note we are also experiencing rail and interisland ferry delays which are not necessarily limited to flooded areas. All of our PACK & SEND service centres remain operational.

Due to Cyclone Gabrielle, many of our carriers will not be operating in the Auckland to upper Northland area. Note that inter-island freight services will also be affect.
As always, please call your local PACK & SEND service centre for more info.

Note that some service centres are closed this week but operating from home, where power, phone lines and internet are available.
