Sea Freight is a great service when you want to send a heavy or bulky items, or you are working with a limited budget.
At PACK & SEND we offer two Sea Freight services for you to choose from. Sea Freight to the Door or Sea Freight to the Port.

Sea Freight to the Door
Our Sea Freight to the Door service offers the convenience of a door to door delivery to our most common international destinations.

This service includes all documentation, both here in New Zealand and at your final destination, export and terminal handling charges, customs clearance, and sea freight and delivery to the door. This is a consolidated service. This means that once the sea freight container is full only then is it shipped to the destination.
The only exclusion for this service is the possible payment of customs duties and taxes at the final destination.
Excess Baggage Service
Within our Sea Freight to the Door service we have an excess baggage service. This service is avaliable for shipping to Australia, United Kingdom and listed EU countries.
Our excess baggage service is ideal for sending unaccompanied personal effects such as extra luggage, boxes and bicycles that are too big or too expensive to send via airfreight.
Each item sent must not exceed 35kgs. You can send as many items as you want.
Household Goods Service
Our household goods service has been designed to cater for small house/flat moves, student moves, office relocations, estate management or equipment relocation. Alongside our professional packaging service, sending your belongings overseas by ship, doesn't get much easier.
Shipping dates and timeframes for the Sea Freight to the Door service are variable. Talk with your local PACK & SEND store when you are ready to move for a better idea of transit times.
Sea Freight to the Port Service
With weekly sailings to over 250 destinations worldwide our Sea Freight to the Port service is an economical option when shipping large, bulky, heavy goods overseas.
This service includes all export documentation and charges, and Sea Freight to the Port.
As some countries or destinations within countries do not allow the door to door service, your goods will be shipped to a safe and secure, controlled depot at the destination port. Destination and terminal handling charges, customs clearance and delivery fees will be arranged and payable by you as the goods reach the destination port prior to you uplifting your goods.
As part of our service, your PACK & SEND store will provide you with the necessary documentation and contacts required to make this process as easy as possible.
